One way to hike SE Warren Mountain is from Roses Brook Road near the Relay State Forest. A power line right-of-way comes close to the summit of the mountain. ALL of the land from beginning to end is located on private property. Make sure you contact the owner of the property to get permission to hike.

There are many ATV trails and logging roads on this mountain although they do switch back and forth and add mileage to the hike. There are some areas that are very steep but the total distance is between 1.0 and 1.5 miles depending on the route you take. The elevation gain is around 1300 feet. There are no views from the summit but you may be able to get some views through the trees over toward Cowan Mountain in the winter. If you walk up the power line right-of-way there are some nice views which are marred by the power line and the towers.
