NJ1K peak map There are four high points on the Jenny Jump Ridge. It is easiest to do #1 and #2 together and then relocate your car and hike #3 and #4.

Find Mountain Lake Road near Mountain Lake, NJ. When Mountain Lake Road splits bear right on Lakeside Drive North. Park in parking area on the east side of Lakeside Drive north about .5 miles from Mountain Lake Road. Start your hike on the yellow Mountain Lake Trail and walk about a mile on the trail and the woods roads. The actual high point for Jenny Jump #3 will be off the trail to the left. Bushwhack to the highest point. From the highest point you must head southwest. Be sure you know your destination since there are several "bumps" along the way that you may think are Jenny Jump #4. One bump occurs at about 1.85 miles. Use what paths and roads you can and continue to the southwest. After about a mile (It may seem longer!), You should be at the base of Jenny Jump #4. Continue up and toward the high point. The terrain flattens near the top so you can readjust and get to the high point. Follow about the same route back being careful NOT to follow one of the numerous roads, paths and trails in the wrong direction.

(The map at the right shows the parking area and the out and back hiking route.)
